Bryan ISD’s Dual Language Pathway Announced for Fall 2017

Dual Language students in Bryan ISD now have pathway of campuses to attend from elementary school through intermediate school, thanks to programming decisions that take effect in Fall 2017.

Dual language students from the programs at Johnson and Henderson would continue to attend those campuses from grades K-4. Those students would then attend Long Intermediate School, which will become a 5/6 grade campus in Fall 2017.

Fall 2017 Dual Language Pathway:

  • Grades K-4: Johnson Elementary / Henderson Elementary
  • Grades 5/6: Long Intermediate School

Along with the recently announced expanded offerings for advanced academics, the pathway for dual language demonstrates Bryan ISD’s commitment to preserving and growing the district’s successful and highly desired programs.

The district’s new grade configuration was approved by trustees and endorsed by voters in the 2014 bond election. Jane Long and Sam Rayburn will become 5/6 intermediate campuses. The district’s 7/8 grade campuses will be Arthur Davila and SFA.
