Bryan ISD Trustees Promote Tommy Roberts to Principal's Post at Bryan Collegiate

The Bryan ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Bryan Collegiate High School Associate Principal Tommy Roberts to serve as only the second principal in the school’s history. Roberts, who joined Collegiate in 2009, began his service as a math instructor and department head at Davila Middle School in 2008. He joined Collegiate the following year and was promoted to serve as dean and associate principal for the award-winning early college high school.

As principal, Roberts will step into the school’s top post as former Principal Christina Richardson begins serving as the District’s new director of advanced academics.

“Bryan Collegiate High School is a gem in our District, our state and indeed our country,” Superintendent Christie Whitbeck said. “The nationally recognized school attained its respected status under tremendous leadership, and we could not be more excited to cheer Tommy on and support him toward continued success and excellence in the years ahead.”
