BHS Teacher Selected for TAMU Inspiration Award
Bryan High School history teacher Chad Cryer was selected to receive the "Inspiration Award for Exceptional Secondary Education" which honors Texas high school teachers who made a significant impact on a Texas A&M graduating senior while they were in high school. BHS grad and soon-to-be A&M graduate Lauren Hamburg nominated Cryer for the award. Cryer is one of just two educators to receive the honor this spring, and will hand Lauren her Texas A&M diploma at her commencement ceremony in May. Supt. Dr. Tommy Wallis and BHS principal Lamond Dean surprised Mr. Cryer with news of the honor today.
