  • Bryan ISD provides the TSIA for FREE to students.  Students need to ask their counselor or campus testing coordinator how to register and when the test is given.
  • The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help your college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. If you are an incoming college student in Texas, you are required to take the TSI Assessment - unless you are already exempt - to determine your readiness for college-level work. Based on how you perform, you may either be enrolled in a college-level course and/or be placed in the appropriate developmental course or intervention to improve your skills and prepare you for success in college-level courses.
  • TSIA PreAssesment: Any students taking the TSIA must first complete the PreAssesment Activity.  Click on the link below based on which campus the student is currently enrolled.

Exam Fee Waivers
Any student who participates in the free or reduced lunch program is eligible for an exam fee waiver.  Students need to go to their campus GO Center or College & Career Center to ask for a waiver.

Exam 504/SPED Accommodations
Accommodations must be applied for through SAT or ACT.  The campus 504 or SPED coordinator will assist with this process. See the links below for campus instructions and forms. The decision to grant accommodations is determined by SAT or ACT.
