Referrals for Gifted & Talented Evaluation are now being accepted!


Bryan ISD is now accepting referrals  for students who may qualify for Gifted & Talented Services.  The GT program is designed for students who are performing well above grade level or demonstrating exceptional academic strengths or talents. Anyone wishing to refer a student in Bryan ISD can pick up a referral form in any BISD campus office or get it electronically by scanning the QR codes or clicking on the links below. (If a student has already been identified at GT, they do not need to be referred again.)The referral form must be returned to the campus no later than September 24, 2018.



GT Referral Timeline

Campuses may need to extend outside of the timeline depending on

number of students referred for evaluation.

August 27 - September 24

GT Referral Window Open

(Kindergarten students will be screened in January)

September 25 - September 28

Parent Surveys sent home

October 1 - October 12

Student assessments administered

October 15 - October 23

Campus Selection Committees meet to review each referred and assessed student and make decisions

October 26

Decision letters and assessment information mailed home for all referred and assessed students
