Alternative Graduation Requirements for TAKS, TAAS, or TEAMS Testers

TAKS, TAAS, and TEAMS assessments are no longer offered by the state of Texas. If you have met the course requirements for graduation, but are still needing one of these assessments, Senate Bill 463 has given you an alternate path to graduation.

Please complete this TAKS/TAAS/TEAMS Alternative Graduation Request Form to begin the process of applying for graduation.  The following are some of the requirements of Senate Bill 463 to graduate from Bryan ISD:

  • your last campus of enrollment must have been a Bryan ISD campus,
  • you must be course credit complete, and
  • you must have taken each of your Exit exams at least three times
    • Taking a STAAR Algebra I, English II, Biology, or US History test will count towards the requirement

Please complete the form even if you are not certain you have fulfilled the listed requirements. Let us verify these requirements for you. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2019 in order to process your request before SB 463 expires on September 1, 2019.

Your information will be forwarded to the appropriate campus and you will be contacted if further information and/or documentation is required.
