Summer Enrichment & Acceleration Opportunities

Summer Enrichment

Registration opens April 18, 2019 and closes on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

 

Register Early!

  • Many camps have a maximum number of participants. After a camp meets its maximum number, it will be closed.
  • If a camp does not meet the minimum number of students, it will be cancelled!
  • Notifications will be sent if there is any time change, date change, or class cancellations.

 

How to Register:

  • Registration is completed online using the EZChildTrack system. Students not enrolled in Bryan ISD may attend summer enrichment camps. 
  • Create an account if you do not already have one.
  • Choose Summer Enrichment.
  • Complete the registration application.
  • To register for a camp, you must know its location. The descriptions in the summer enrichment catalog provide the location information. Summer Enrichment 2019 Catalog
  • Payment can be made online or in person at the Bryan ISD Administration Building (801 South Ennis).
  • An email confirmation will be sent once the registration is approved and enrollment is successful. Please allow 1-2 business days for the confirmation email to arrive.
  • Payment must be made no later than May 17, 2019. Registration will be dropped if not paid by deadline.
  • If a camp does not appear in the online registration system, it is full and/or unavailable for additional students.

 

Refunds & Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel a child’s registration, you may do so prior to May 17, 2019. Registration fees are non-refundable after May 17, 2019.
  • Cancellations should be sent to Joey Duhon at the contact information below.
  • If a session is cancelled due to low enrollment, a refund will be issued using the same payment method that was used at the time of registration.

 

Late Registration:

  • Late registration will be considered on a case by case basis. Space as well as the availability of materials will be taken into consideration. Contact Joey Duhon for more information.

High School Course Advancement

Students who wish to get ahead in high school credits may take self-paced courses primarily taught through Edgenuity.  Student coursework is supported and facilitated by teachers. For more information, contact your child’s counselor or visit the school’s website. Applications will become available May 1, 2019

Credit By Exam

Students have the opportunity to earn credit for a course or grade level by taking a Credit by Exam (CBE).  There are 2 types of CBE testing, for advancement or for remediation. Bryan ISD uses the University of Texas as the supplier for CBE, along with CollegeBoard AP, CLEP, AVANT or a District approved criterion-referenced test.
