Bryan ISD’s medical plan is a self-insured risk pool. This gives the District greater plan design flexibility. After reviewing the comprehensive plan summaries below, we think you’ll agree we offer the best benefit bargain in the state of Texas.
When considering your total compensation, don’t forget to look at the cost of benefits. All Bryan ISD insurance benefits operate under a flexible benefits plan with premiums paid with pre-tax dollars. An employee who works 20 hours per week is eligible for benefits unless the employee is a bus driver. Bus drivers are eligible for benefits if they work 16 hours per week.
