The Bryan ISD will hold a public meeting at 12:00 PM, September 9, 2024 in BISD Administration Building, 801 S. Ennis St., Bryan, TX 77803.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the school district's budget that will determine the tax rate that will be adopted. Public participation in the discussion is invited.
On September 23, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m., the Bryan Independent School District will hold a public hearing in the BISD Administration Building, 801 S. Ennis St., Bryan, TX 77803 pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code §403.611 concerning the application from America’s Foundry Bryan LLC (“America’s Foundry”) for a possible tax incentive agreement within RELLIS Reinvestment Zone 1 in Brazos County, TX. America’s Foundry is considering a potential $12.633 Billion investment in a semiconductor manufacturing project and is evaluating a 288 acre parcel of land, more or less, said parcel being out of a 1,991.39 acre tract of land, said tract being situated in the James Curtis, Jr. Survey, Abstract No. 12, the John Williams Survey, Abstract No. 237, and the Thomas F. McKinney Survey, Abstract No. 33, Brazos County, Texas, and more particularly described in that certain Deed Without Warranty dated April 30, 1962 and recorded in Volume 219, at Page 210, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas.
All interested persons may appear and present testimony regarding the application.
