Instructions for Testing the Speed of your Internet Service

Internet Service Speed Test

Utilize the following information to determine if your personal device will meet the minimum specification for online instruction.

Device Operating System (OS): 

• Currently Supported Chrome OS (Click HERE to see if your Chromebook is supported)

• Windows 8 or 10

• MacOS X Yosemite 10.10 or newer

Processor: Intel Celeron N4020 (Dual Core, up to 2.8GHz, 4M Cache, 6W)  or greater

Number of USB Ports: 2 or more

Memory (RAM): 4GB or more

Hard Drive: 

• 32GB or greater

• Solid-State Drive (SSD) is preferred due to reliability

Display:

• 9.5” (1024 x 768) or larger

• Camera & Microphone Required

Wireless Capability: Must be compatible with 5Ghz (dual band)

Headphone jack is preferred: If unavailable, USB or compatible wireless headphones are required
