Coach Bailey Deramus is excited to build upon his dream of influencing young men through
teaching and coaching baseball at Rudder High School. He brings an exciting energy
and vast baseball knowledge to this great program.
Coach Deramus graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in
History. During his time at Texas A&M, Deramus had the honor of working alongside
both Coach Rob Childress and Coach Jim Schlossnagle.
Deramus played an important role in the Aggies 2022-2023 season as the program captured an outright SEC West Championship and a trip to the 2022 College World Series. Coach Childress says, “Deramus has amazing baseball IQ and is excellent at building relationships, he will do a great job at Rudder High School”.
Coach Deramus also played baseball at Blinn College from 2018-2020. While at Blinn
College Deramus helped take the Buccaneers to a 2nd place finish in the Region XIV
Conference Tournament.
Deramus graduated from Burton High School where he was a multi-sport athlete.
Coach Deramus' family includes his father Kevin and his mother Heather, as well as an
older brother Jacob.
